Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can—and "whatever a spider can" apparently includes hanging out on top of street lampposts in the middle of a beautiful day!
Reshoots on "The Amazing Spider-Man" were recently underway in New York City, and now, Los Angeles is once again the site to double as the wall-crawler's Big Apple. Actor Andrew Garfield has been in LA this week for some additional "Spider-Man" shoots, with photos popping up online—right here on Splash Page, above you in fact!—of the friendly neighborhood webhead swinging around on a wire.
Garfield's Parker isn't suited up in his traditional Spidey red and blues, opting instead for street clothes. With his backpack strapped and earbuds on, it looks like Parker's just out for a normal stroll as usual. Lest you think Pete's just feeling a little bit playful with his powers, something bad does indeed happen to provoke our hero to swing around sans mask in broad daylight. Minor spoilers ahead.
According to descriptions from the Los Angeles shoot, Parker is using "his superpowers to avoid being hit by a car on his skateboard." If Pete's still skating around, it's a smart bet that we're looking at our hero in the earliest days of him getting to know his way around his new power set.
