Where is Thanos and when will we see him next? The secret "Avengers" villain's future appearances are equally mysterious, it seems, as no one involved with Marvel Studios will confirm when and where Thanos' next appearance will take place. Chris Hemsworth already denied a Thanos presence in "Thor 2," and now Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige is weighing in to say the same.
"No, future, future," he told Empire (via Comic Book Movie) about whether or not Thanos would appear in "Thor 2" or in a future Marvel movie instead. "But there will be a major new villain. A major, major new antagonist."
As we already know, Mads Mikkelsen recently booked a bad guy role for the "Thor" sequel, with most speculation pointing towards the Executioner as his character. But popular theories suggest Enchantress will be the lead villain of "Thor 2," a notion that I certainly hope pans out in the near future.
As for what else we can expect from "Thor 2," Feige offered the following: "We’re going to see the other side of Asgard. It’s not all polished and golden in this film. And the events of Avengers will have affected Thor for sure. His relationship with Loki will continue to evolve, and the biggest part is Natalie and Thor returning with Jane Foster."
