Brain-suckers, feast on this: "The Walking Dead" is coming to Comic-Con in style.
AMC has announced panels for "Walking Dead" and "Comic Book Men," both of which will take place at the gloriously huge Hall H. The "Walking Dead" panel is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. on Friday (July 13) with "Talking Dead" host Chris Hardwick moderating a one-hour discussion with nearly all of the show's key players.
The lineup of panelists includes Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori), Laurie Holden (Andrea), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Danai Gurira (Michonne), David Morrisey (The Governor), executive producer and showrunner Glen Mazzara, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, executive producer and co-creator of the "Walking Dead" comics Robert Kirkman, and co-executive producer and special effects make-up supervisor Greg Nicotero. That's a whole lot of awesome in one room!
On top of the discussion, there will be lots of footage, Hurd promised in a recent interview with AMC.
"We like to bring a special reel for the fans at Comic-Con so they can see a special sneak peak of Season 3 before everyone else," she said. "It's sort of a reward for waiting in line to getting it into the hall. And we'll be bringing a larger contingent of our cast and crew than ever this year. And also because we began shooting a lot earlier this year, the reel will contain a lot more footage than it has in the past."
The "Comic Book Men" panel with Kevin Smith, for those interested, takes place on Saturday (July 14) at 10 p.m. in Hall H.
