Comic-Con is aiming to misbehave. After weeks of rumors, it's now confirmed that a special "Firefly" panel is hitting the San Diego nerd mecca next month to honor the cult classic sci-fi series' upcoming 10 year anniversary!
Stars Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher and more will all be on hand for the "Firefly" panel alongside creator Joss Whedon and writer Tim Minear, courtesy of Science Channel. The Hollywood Reporter also reports that the hour-long panel will include never-before-seen footage and other "numerous buzz-worthy surprises."
Surprises, eh? Perhaps some kind of live-action continuation of "Firefly," if not another full-fledged movie? Whedon is the director of the third most successful movie of all time now, after all — if anything's going to give him clout to make another "Firefly" flick, it's that. Wishful thinking, perhaps, but I'm a wishful thinking kind of guy.
The "Firefly" panel will take place in Ballroom 20 on Friday (July 13) at 12:30 p.m. PST. Line up early, Browncoats…
