Calling all nerds! If you're heading down to Comic-Con this year and would like to write for MTV News, we want to hear from you!
The MTV Movies team is seeking Comic-Con contributors to attend and report on a wide range of panels and events. Already planning on checking out the Marvel movie panels? Are you hoping to brave the zombie apocalypse through the "Walking Dead Escape" obstacle course? Write about your experiences for us and make your voice heard!
Candidates should have prior writing and editing experience with online publications. You must be able to churn out copy with authority, wit, enthusiasm and factual accuracy. Just as importantly, you need to already have your Comic-Con passes in hand — we won't be able to provide these for you.
If you're interested in signing on as one of our Comic-Con contributors, then send over an introductory letter, writing samples, and a list of the panels and events you're hoping to cover to mtvnewshires@gmail.com; submissions without all three will not be considered.
