"The Wolverine" begins shooting next week, and in case you don't believe that the Hugh Jackman pseudo-sequel is actually happening, the proof is in the pudding — or in the on-set photography, as it were.
Photos from the "Wolverine" set in Sydney, Australia have emerged online, offering you plenty of goodies worth dissecting with an adamantium scalpel. Some of the material seen in these photos can be considered spoiler-ific, with one photo in particular standing out as a bit of a bomb. So read on at your own risk!
Among the sets seen in the "Wolverine" photos are designs for a World War II prisoner of war set and a well, both of which are places we're assuming our fast-healing mutant antihero is going to be spending a lot of his time.
More interesting, however, is a shot of a board filled border to border with concept art from the film. The board's top-left illustration seems to depict a figure holding a massive samurai sword — a silver samurai sword, perhaps? — while right next to it is a depiction of an atomic bomb going off. If Logan's in the blast radius when that thing goes off, one assumes we'll be seeing much more of Jackman's clawed character than we've ever seen before.
