Don't believe that "Kick-Ass 2" is actually going to happen? Tell that to the folks responsible for casting, as they've just recruited John Leguizamo for the upcoming Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. adaptation.
Leguizamo has joined the cast of the "Kick-Ass" sequel playing Javier, one of the bodyguards of the film's primary antagonist, Red Mist — or, as he's later known, the Motherf---er. He's the first new actor to be announced for the project, with the old guard of Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse all expected to return for the Jeff Wadlow-directed sequel.
In fact, at Comic-Con, MTV News caught up with Mintz-Plasse and found out a whole lot about what to expect from "Kick-Ass 2" when it finally rolls around.
"My character in this movie is called Red Mist, and in this movie it's The Motherf-er. And there's a lot of blood and a lot of murdering," he told us. That potentially includes dog-murdering, if one particular scene from the comic books makes its way into the movie. "If I'm playing my character, you know, it's got to happen. But I don't know if that's going to be in the movie specifically."
