The comic book industry has lost a legend. Artist Joe Kubert, co-creator of "Sgt. Rock" and founder of The Kubert School, died on Sunday (August 12) at the age of 85, just weeks before his 86th birthday. Best known for his work on Sgt. Rock, Hawkman and a number of other DC Comics characters, Kubert's long career spanned the 1940s all the way to his recent work on "Before Watchmen: Nite Owl," a project he worked on with his son Andy.
MTV Geek recently spoke with the pair about their "Watchmen" comic; check out the interview in the video below, and leave your thoughts for Kubert and his family in the comments section or on Twitter.
