We're not sure if you got the memo, but Joss Whedon is a director of big budget blockbusters now. "The Avengers" didn't just change things for the once small-time Whedon, it altered movie-making, cinema, and the universe.
But some person who claims to be a comedian, named Mike Birbiglia, has decided to challenge the Whedon-"Avengers" supremacy with a little movie called "Sleepwalk With Me." Mr. Whedon doesn't like this very much, and now he has been forced to take the matter into his own hands. Today, he posted a YouTube urging his loyal followers to demand "Sleepwalk With Me" screen at their local theaters. Diabolical!
See the video below!
It's almost as if Whedon secretly wants the indie film to succeed and has ironically posted this YouTube hate video to voice his opinion in the most Whedonesque way possible.
But that would be insane.
Will you see "Sleepwalk With Me" or are you boycotting the film at Whedon's behest? Sound off in the comments or on Twitter!
