Robert Rodriguez just wrapped on "Machete Kills," which means it's time for the actors involved in "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" to start prepping for their roles. That's why Jessica Alba has gone Nancy Callahan-blonde and has reentered the shooting range to make sure she's ready for the upcoming comic book sequel.
Alba has been chronicling her transition back to the Frank Miller character on her Twitter account over the past few days. So far that's mostly meant saying goodbye to her brown locks.
"Bye bye brown hair," Alba tweeted, along with a mid-color picture and the final product. "She got roots that Nancy #sincity2"
She then headed into the shooting range to start getting her gunmanship skills back in order.
"What a way to start the day -training for a movie is sorta fun," Alba tweeted.
We’re glad to see that Alba is as excited about the project as we are. But she isn't the only "Sin City" actor who will return for the forthcoming sequel. We also know that Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson are expected to come back for the film.
"Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" is currently set for an October 4, 2013 release date, so shooting is likely gearing up to start soon. Hopefully Rodriguez will tweet as many pictures from the set as he did for "Machete Kills."
