With months and months still to go before "Man of Steel" hits theaters, all signs are pointing to a fantastic performance from Henry Cavill as Superman. He already received rave reviews from Michael Shannon, and now his leading lady Amy Adams is piling on the praise as well.
"Henry [Cavill] – I hope you guys love him as Superman – worked so hard. He is just yummy and really committed to the role," Adams told Collider. "He really did a good job."
As for her own work in the movie, Adams said you can expect to see a Lois Lane who won't feel quite as competitive with Clark Kent as previous incarnations of the character, but not at the expense of taking away the intrepid reporter's fiery spirit.
"I mean, she is definitely a pistol still and she definitely gets herself in a lot of trouble still," she said. "But she is not as competitive, I would say, with Clark."
