Worship Joss Whedon and Robert Downey Jr. all you want, but give credit where it's due: without the folks spinning the wheels at Marvel Studios, like president of production Kevin Feige, the modern-day superhero movie landscape would be a very different place.
Feige spoke with MTV News recently about the monumental success of "The Avengers," and how Whedon's vision and Marvel's prior films paved the way for the studio's triumph this summer. He also weighed in on DC's rumored plans for a "Justice League" film in 2015, a project that would seemingly break away from Marvel's proven model of using solo franchises to lead up to bigger team movies like "Avengers."
