"Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" still needs that dame to kill for, but it has plenty of other dames willing to kill for your amusement.
The long-awaited "Sin City" sequel, which just started shooting in Austin, Texas this week, has just added two more actors to its ever expanding cast: Jaime King, who played Goldie and Wendy in the first film, and Jamie Chung, hot off her turns in "Sucker Punch" and the "Hangover" sequel.
King will reprise her role as warrior woman Wendy for the sequel, while Chung takes over the part of silent assassin Miho from outgoing actress Devon Aoki.
Interestingly enough, the film's two lead roles — Ava Lord and Dwight McCarthy — are still without actors attached. Angelina Jolie has always been mentioned as a lead contender for Ava, but there's currently no word on whether or not that casting has panned out.
Dwight, meanwhile, was played by Clive Owen in the original "Sin City" film, but story details require a different actor to play the part for the vast majority of the sequel. It's expected that Owen will come back for at least a portion of the film.
"Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" hits theaters on October 4, 2013.
