Director Marc Webb swings back into action on the "Amazing Spider-Man" sequel with a May 2, 2014 release date already on the table. At the moment, it seems the filmmaker is knee-deep in the pre-production process, including daily meetings with writers and taking time to chat with the fans.
Webb held a Q&A session on his Twitter page late last week, during which he addressed some of the big talking points surrounding his next "Spider-Man" film. Chief among them: whether or not Shailene Woodley has a role in the sequel, if Spidey is going to get a costume makeover, and how the writing process is going.
See what he had to say below the break.
On Shailene's casting: "YES! She's the jam - love her, look forward to working with her in ASM2."
On Spidey's costume upgrade: "Bigger eyes. Gnarly web shooters."
On working on the script: "Work with writers daily until they start throwing food at me. Fave part of work espec. when its pasta."
