The odds of Christopher Nolan ever returning to the Batman franchise are slim to none, but that doesn't mean everybody involved in those films wants to leave that door shut for good.
Take Anne Hathaway, for example. Her Catwoman was one of the most popular characters to emerge from "The Dark Knight Rises" (and the greater "Dark Knight" trilogy), and Hathaway isn't totally ready to let Selina sail off just yet.
Though she tells Access Hollywood that no one has talked to her about starring in a Catwoman spinoff, Hathaway she "would love it."
"I actually, it’s so embarrassing, I was at a press Q & A thing the other night for a screening of ‘The Dark Knight,’ and the moderator asked me, ‘So what was it like to say goodbye to the character?’ And I burst into tears, because I miss her,” she added. “It just makes me cry. I miss her. I love Selina so much and I love her presence in my life and getting to… I’m crying again.”
There you have it — Hathaway misses Selina Kyle so much that it brings her to tears. Is that emotional reaction powerful enough to generate a brand new Catwoman movie? The survey is out on that one… but if those John Blake "Justice League" rumors are true, then maybe a Hathaway-Catwoman flick isn't so far out of the realm of possibility after all.
