Brace yourself for a big rumor, "Guardians" fans: two comedians are reportedly circling Marvel's "Galaxy."
Latino Review states that two major comedy stars are being sought for roles in "Guardians of the Galaxy," directed by James Gunn: none other than Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey. It's unclear who these guys would play if cast, though smart money pairs their talents with Rocket Raccoon and Groot.
Carrey already has comic book credibility to his name, with starring roles in "Batman Forever" and the upcoming "Kick-Ass 2." But this would be a big development for Sandler — and based on his recent string of comedies, it could be a step that fans aren't too happy about.
Also rumored for roles in "Guardians" are Wes Bentley, Cam Gigandet and Chris Lowell. All three of them are supposedly testing for the Star-Lord role, Latino Review reports.
