Superman and Batman are destined to share the big-screen together some day — it just might take longer to happen than we once thought.
A new rumor is making the rounds today stating that the director- and cast-free "Justice League" adaptation currently set up at Warner Bros. has lost the only thing it had going for it: its script. Badass Digest reports that the screenplay for "Justice League" written by Will Beall has been tossed out the door.
"I've now heard from multiple sources that the Will Beall script for Justice League has been scrapped," writes Badass Digest's Devin Faraci. "The story from each source is the same: it's terrible. Some sources seem to think the whole movie is going to fall apart and never happen, while some believe that Warner Bros will keep moving forward, unwilling to lose the superhero arms race."
Whether or not the rumor is true, this much is for sure: "Justice League" is having an incredibly difficult time getting off the ground. That already unlikely 2015 release date is looking less and less likely by the day.
