Just as you were thinking this Wednesday wouldn't have enough blood-soaked superhero action, here we come to save the day with the following news: at 12 p.m. ET, MTV News will be premiering the red-band trailer for "Kick-Ass 2," director Jeff Wadlow's sequel to the 2010 comic book adaptation. It will be your first look at how Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse have all evolved since kicking every kind of ass in the original film — and it'll also be your first look at Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes, among other highlights.
