"The Wolverine" has sure taken its time. 2013's other big comic movies ("Iron Man 3" and "Man of Steel") released their trailers earlier this year and last summer. So what's the holdup, Wolvie? With anticipation for "The Wolverine" increasing with every new photo, director James Mangold took to Twitter to announce the full details (all 140 characters of them) about the film's teaser.
Clarity for all asking: I will tweet a peek (a "tweazer") on 26th. Full teaser online on 27th. 3D and 2D in theaters on the big screen 29th.

While we add "tweazers" to our Splash Page dictionary, let's run through some of the other recent Wolverine news:
» New photos were released showing a bloody clawed Wolverine in his Sunday finest.
» James Mangold tweeted pictures of Wolverine, Yukio and Mariko.
» We got a glimpse of one of "The Wolverine's" many sets, as well as a ticket to Hugh Jackman's gun show.
A film's first trailer being released so close to its premiere date could be worrying, but we're not getting into a panic just yet. As evidenced by those three stories above, things have looked pretty good for "The Wolverine." The source material is solid, the setting sets it apart from every other superhero film, the director really seems to get it, and it's hard to argue with more Hugh Jackman. Things will really start heating up for "The Wolverine" next week when we get our first glimpse of Wolverine in action, hopefully against a ton of ninjas. Fingers crossed.
