The final three Marvel Minimates tied in to "Iron Man 3" have been released. The Toys "R" Us exclusives will hit stores later in April, just in time for "Iron Man 3's" May 3rd release date.
While Tony Stark and an Extremis soldier Minimates have already been revealed, this latest batch of collectibles focuses on Tony's array of armor. There's one figurine wearing the Iron Man Mark 17 Artillery Level RT Suit "Heartbreaker" Armor, another wearing the Mark 33 Enhanced Energy Suit "Silver Centurion" Armor and a third wearing the Mark 41 Skeleton Suit "Bones" Armor.
This isn't the first time we've seen these armors, like the Silver Centurion, in "Iron Man 3's" marketing campaign. Marvel has made Tony's new collection of Iron Man suits a big part of the promotional push for this movie, and even will have them featured at Disneyland starting April 13. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige promised recently they'd get as much attention in "Iron Man 3" as we've been giving them in real life.
"By the end of the film, we see each and every one of them, and you realize Tony is a mechanic and he has been tinkering," he said in production notes for the film. "Any conceivable idea he had about the suit technology he built and stored in his Hall of Armor. Finally, after talking about it for four movies we finally see his Hall of Armor and the giant army of suits that he’s built for himself."
