It doesn't look like Ryan Reynolds will return as Green Lantern anytime soon, and it doesn't look great for "Deadpool" moving forward, either. But neither of those facts can keep the actor away from the comic book movie game for long.
In fact, Reynolds is right back in the thick of it with this summer's "R.I.P.D.," an action-comedy based on the Dark Horse Comics series of the same name. A brand new poster for the film has gone online via Collider, showing Reynolds and co-star Jeff Bridges glowering with guns aglow.

That's not all. On top of the poster, Entertainment Weekly has released a new image from the film, too:
The title "R.I.P.D." refers to the Rest in Peace Department, a collection of cops who operate from beyond the grave to battle the supernatural. Reynolds plays a newly deceased policeman who teams up with a long-dead gunslinger (Bridges) to learn the true circumstances behind his demise.
Directed by "Red" director Robert Schwentke, "R.I.P.D." hits theaters on July 19, 2013. The film co-stars Kevin Bacon and Mary-Louise Parker.
