With "Man of Steel" landing in theaters on June 14th, a lot of attention has been placed on "Superman Lives," the Tim Burton/Kevin Smith/Nic Cage Super-film that failed to get off the ground 15 years ago. New concept art for the film, along with art from director Darren Aronofsky's failed "Batman: Year One" film, has surfaced today.
Comic Book Movie has great insight into both "Superman Lives" and "Batman: Year One", including some truly out there plot synopses. For fans eagerly waiting to see a homeless Bruce Wayne or Lex Luthor and Brainiac combined into something called "Luthiac," you'll be sad to know that your (very weird) dreams would have come true if these films had been made.
A documentary about the making of "Superman Lives" was recently funded on Kickstarter, an idea that Nicolas Cage seemed to enjoy. You can check out some of the concept art below, and be sure to check out the rest of the art for "Superman Lives" and "Batman: Year One" over at Comic Book Movie.
