Ever since Marvel Studios made the bold move to tie all of their solo hero films into one shared universe, leading to the massive team-up in last year's "Marvel's the Avengers," DC Comics fans have been clamoring for something similar to happen for their favorite heroes. It didn't happen in Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy, but Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" might give fans a little bit of what they've been looking for. And that's how Snyder likes it, as he related to MTV News in the video below.
"There's no conference I have with DC where we sit down and go like, 'Is there any way we can get LexCorp [in the movie], or Wayne Enterprises?' I just am like, this is cool stuff and we need to put it in the movie. It shows that there's a big DC universe out there and anything's possible as far as that goes." Snyder does say that there's not much to read into regarding the Easter eggs he carefully placed in "Man of Steel," but that shouldn't stop fans from speculating.
Check out the video below for this and some of Snyder's thoughts about "Justice League."
