The "Man of Steel" sequel, reportedly titled "Batman Vs. Superman," has found itself in an interesting spot within the public's opinion of the project in the past few days.
Everyone was talking about the Batfleck to the point where Twitter essentially tired itself out with both the backlash and the backlash to the backlash. Where do we currently stand on Ben Affleck as the new Dark Knight? The arrow on the buzz-o-meter appears to be stuck somewhere between "Hate it" and "We'll see," but a new rumor has been pushing the opinion back toward the positive.
While it has yet to be confirmed, despite a crazy amount of irresponsible rereporting, Bryan Cranston has not joined the movie as Lex Luthor yet. But he seems like far away the most obvious and best choice for the movie, especially when you consider his ongoing relationship with the studio, thanks to "Godzilla."
How would a "Batman Vs. Superman" with Henry Cavill, Affleck, and Cranston look? One YouTube user just gave us a really good idea.
SoylentBrak1 unleashed this monster of a fan-made trailer on the world, and all of the sudden the bad buzz around "Batman Vs. Superman" doesn't seem to matter that much. It also goes to show just how important the right Luthor can be...also, how convincing Cranston can be even in a role that was just cut and pasted from a few different sources. That guy is good.
