This week was all about actors name-dropping the heroes they think they'd be perfect for. First Katee Sackhoff admitted that she would love to play Captain Marvel (following the outbreak of a rumor that that was going to happen from last week). Then earlier today, Channing Tatum pretty much auditioned for the X-Man Gambit in an interview. Now, "Glee" actor Harry Shum Jr. casually mentioned in an interview with MTV Geek that there's one DC character he's had his eye on becoming: Nightwing.
Shum name-dropped Nightwing after explaining how his dance background could easily translate into superheroics. "I love it," Shum told MTV Geek. "I mean, I grew up on comic books and superheroes, so right now it's the rage. But I've been wanting to play him since I was a kid, so it'd be a dream come true... I'm game, man! Put me in a super hero movie, put me in a Star Wars movie, and I can die happy." Of all the heroes in the DC Universe, Nightwing is known for being one of the most agile and physical. After all, that's Dick Grayson—the original Robin—underneath that mask, and that kid grew up in a circus performing as an acrobat!
