There isn't much Chin Han can tell you about his upcoming role in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," except for this: working with Robert Redford was a dream.
Already known to comic book movie fans for his role in "The Dark Knight" as cowardly crook Lau, Han is set to join the opposite side of the law with his role in "Winter Soldier." He's one of the members of the World Security Council, which means he'll have a decent amount of screen-time with Redford, who plays S.H.I.E.L.D. head Alexander Pierce.
"I got to act with my childhood film idol, Robert Redford, and that's a gift in itself," said the actor in a new interview. "He's amazing, he's in his 70s but he is a good looking man."
"It was a dream come true," he continued. "It's so inspiring to know you're on set with the actor from movies like 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,' 'All the President's Men' and 'The Natural.' … Things are very fast-paced on these US $200 million movies, but when we finished the shoot, I had some time to chat with [Redford]. I found him to be very elegant and an independent thinker so I like him a lot."
