Fans eager to meet the fall's hottest new superhero will have a chance to do so at this year's New York Comic Con—just don't expect an autograph. You know, because cars don't have hands.
Agent Phil Coulson's car Lola, as seen in pretty much every trailer released for "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," will be on the guest list this October at the massive pop culture event, and Marvel has just released info about where and how to meet her.

New York Comic Con, the biggest pop culture event of the year, is almost here--and "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be there with the action and excitement no fan can miss!
First, visit the Marvel Booth (#1354) beginning on Friday, October 11 for a chance to (almost) touch Lola! That's right, the iconic vehicle of Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) will be on display for the first time ever to the public and this is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to see--and be photographed with--a piece of Marvel history! Plus, fans can pick up an exclusive "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." mini-poster (while supplies last) in the Marvel Booth to show their support for everyone's favorite elite international agents.
Then, on Saturday, October 12 at 5:00 p.m. ET in the Main Theater, join Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb for the "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." on ABC panel for your first look at new footage from the series and access to exclusive news before anyone else!
"New York is the birthplace of Marvel and home to some of our greatest fans, so we're bringing them an awesome 'Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' experience!" said Loeb. "Not only do you get a Level 7 sneak peek at the future of 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' at New York Comic Con, along with a few more surprises you'll hear about pretty soon, you'll also get to see Lola in person for the first time ever! Just don't let Coulson see you trying to take her for a ride!"
"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," the first live-action television series from the House of Ideas, premieres Tuesday, September 24 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET), on the ABC Television Network. This dynamic, action-packed one-hour drama brings back Agent Phil Coulson to lead a team of highly skilled agents with one mission: To investigate the new, the strange and the unknown around the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary.

If you think Marvel's bluffing about the big announcements they teased in the press release, just remember that it was at last year's Marvel TV panel that they announced Coulson's resurrection and revealed that he would headline "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Marvel also screened the entire pilot episode for fans who attended the "S.H.I.E.L.D." panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con International. There's precedence for awesomeness at these things, for sure.
The show will have aired three episodes by the time NYCC hits on October 11th; will they screen the entire fourth episode for attendees? Does that pack enough of a punch, or will they announce some special guest stars? Feel free to speculate wildly for the next month.
"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." debuts on ABC on September 24th.
