Tune in to the 2012 MTV Movie Awards

The Walking DeadPhil Hester loves "The Walking Dead," but he aired one major grievance with the show over Twitter last night and this morning, and his criticism is hard to refute; the show's zombies are in pretty good physical shape. I'm inclined to agree with him, too, based on what I've seen in the first five episodes.

Also in the feed today, Brad Meltzer posted a major spoiler about his wardrobe for his new TV series "Decoded." Read on after the jump, and you can find out what that was, what Rob Liefeld thinks of the Deadpool movie script and what Kody Chamberlain this is wrong with the depiction of comics in national news coverage.

WitchbladeBrits and Americans alike expressed discontent with the announcement today that Russia will host the 2018 World Cup and Qatar would get the next one in 2022. Warren Ellis shared what he thinks about the Russian team, while Jonathan Hickman explained what he intends to do in response and Ande Parks thinks the decisions may be irrelevant to him a decade from now.

Elsewhere, NASA's big press conference about alien life turned out to be a disappointment to many who were expecting to hear about aliens. R. Stevens had his hopes up, and Ryan Stegman proposed that it all may have been one big conspiracy against his comics. Find out what you believe and what Chris Burnham recently learned about "Witchblade" down below.

Dead at 17Whether or not tweeters were moved by celebrity pledges to sign off of Twitter to raise money for World AIDS Day, the campaign has become a topic of conversation throughout the comics Twittersphere. Brian Michael Bendis reacted earlier this week, and Brian Lynch decided to try and help fill the void being left by Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga today.

Elsewhere in the comics and movie production pipelines, Josh Howard crossed his fingers about "Dead@17" negotiations, while Mark Millar offered an update on "Kick-Ass 2." You can find out more about that, as well as who's been named the "Bea Arthur of comics" after the jump.

FirebreatherIf you dug Cartoon Network's new "Firebreather" movie last week, you may be in luck because art Andy Kuhn sounds optimistic that more animated action could be waiting around the corner.

Not everyone was quite so happy in the Twitter Report feed today, though. Wikileaks attracted some criticism following their U.S. embassy cable revelations over the weekend, and George W. Bush blew R. Stevens' mind by forever altering the landscape of his social network. Find out why after the jump along with who loves "True Grit" and how "Invincible" #76 is coming along.

Leslie NielsenComics tweeters returned from their Thanksgiving weekends to a couple of sad deaths in the world of entertainment. "Naked Gun" actor Leslie Nielsen and "Empire Strikes Back" director Irvin Kershner both cemented their status in film decades ago, and their fans and critics alike showed up in our feed this morning.

Elsewhere on Twitter, stars like Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga have been making headlines for not posting so they raise money for World AIDS Day. Brian Michael Bendis didn't seem impressed. Find out why after the jump, along with who Greg Rucka would like to see follow him and what Ron Marz thinks of Cyber Monday.

FirebreatherRemarkably enough, Thanksgiving was not a popular tweet topic this morning, but reports about Anne Hathaway being in line to play Lois Lane and tonight's "Firebreather" premiere on Cartoon Network were. Chris Weston seemed open to Hathaway, while Ryan Ottley's pumped for "Firebreather," but he can't remember how many times the character appeared in "Invincible."

In other tweets, Chris Burnham made a compelling comparison between Groo and Dr. Doom, while a vocal "Dancing with the Stars" fan emerged from the Twitter Report's follow list, and at least one creator is approached "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" with some skepticism. Find out who stands where down below.

Joss Whedon"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" die-hards have mostly been in revolt for the last day or so on Twitter, and they've been just as vocal from within the comics community. Marc Bernardin and Ron Marz both chimed in on the subject, and Erik Larsen attempted to be the voice of reason.

Elsewhere, Brian Michael Bendis revealed that he's contributing to the next generation of comic book movie critics, thanks to a screening of Richard Donner's "Superman." Check out where the Bendis household stands on that subject, as well as what Mark Millar recommends for DC's Flash movie.

Four LokoIf you dug Robert Kirkman's "Walking Dead" episode last night, you weren't alone. He was a compliment magnet last night in the Twitter Report feed, and though Kirkman didn't direct, he did leave to door open to that possibility for next season.

Elsewhere, airport pat-downs courtesy of the TSA were a hot topic. John Layman submitted his feelings on the matter in no uncertain terms, while James Robinson got sentimental about Michael Jackson and Rebekah Isaacs believes that she's discovered the worst Four Loko has to offer. Check out her warning after the jump along with some Chris Samnee art the hypothetical Harry Potter contemplations of Joe Hill.

Harry Potter and the Deathly HallowsLast night kicked off a rush among the creators on the Twitter Report follow list to see "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," and the next-day reactions that have been showing up look positive. The retweets below also reveal who has ideas for a Harry Potter CCG game.

It's been a big morning for Judge Dredd fans, too. A new look at the upcoming film showed up on the 2000 AD forums, and Jock got an early look, while artist P.J. Holden approved. Find out why after the jump along with which comic book writer composed novels about centaurs when he was 11 years old.

Cowboys and Aliens trailerI'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Alan Moore could not have cared less about the "Green Lantern" and "Cowboys and Aliens" trailers that premiered in time for his birthday this week, but a handful of creators in our feed cared enough about him to celebrate his birthday with posts. Gene Ha summed up the day's significance nicely.

As for Jon Favreau's new movie, the first clips to show up in public got a warm welcome broadly. There are some skeptics, though, and Kevin Colden was among them. Check out whose side you're on and photographic evidence of what could happen to you if you try drawing "Ant-Man and the Wasp" near Mike Norton.
