Mark RuffaloThe Incredible Hulk is an iconic character, but he could look a little different when Joss Whedon brings “The Avengers” to the big screen. According to Mark Ruffalo, who will be playing the Hulk in Marvel's superhero team-up film, the green goliath will actually look quite a bit like, well... him.

"No one has asked me to shave my chest yet, thank God,” Ruffalo told The Advocate. “They want this Hulk to be as close to me as possible.”

Back in February, Ruffalo revealed to MTV News that the balance between his screen time as Bruce Banner and his CGI-enhanced alter ego will be "about equal." Read More...

Diane LaneThe plot of the Superman reboot “Man of Steel” is being kept super-secret, but actress Diane Lane, who will play Clark Kent’s mom, recently revealed a little bit more about the much-anticipated film.

Discussing how much of the superhero’s life will be covered in the film, she said it wasn't going to be a movie that only shows him for a short period of time.

Speaking to E! Online, Lane said, “I'm really not allowed to talk much about it, I think, but it does cover the entire range of years, from infancy on." Read More...

Wonder WomanCelebrities are always scrutinized for what they wear, and it seems that it’s even worse if you’re Wonder Woman. We’ve seen Adrianne-Palicki as Wonder-Woman in a shiny publicity shot and red-booted set photos, but there might be yet another outfit waiting to be unveiled.

According to TVLine, there’s a third outfit that has yet to be seen by the public and it should please fans.

“There was an initial outcry about the long pants – you know, skintight pants as opposed to those little shorts [worn by Lynda Carter in the original TV series],” said NBC president Robert Greenblatt. “But the shorts were always planned. They are actually used in the final confrontation when she beats Veronica Cale [played by Elizabeth Hurley].” Read More...

Michael Clarke DuncanGreen Lantern” is in post-production, and part of that means getting the voice work done. We’ve known for a long time about Ryan Reynolds' role as Hal Jordan, but now we know who'll provide the voice of one of the best-known alien members of the Green Lantern Corps, too.

There have been rumors about Michael Clarke Duncan voicing Kilowog for weeks, and now The Hollywood Reporter has been able to report that it’s more than just potential casting. The site indicated that the offer was extended to Duncan on Tuesday and the Oscar-nominated actor is now in negotiations for the role.

This comes two weeks after it was announced that Geoffrey Rush would provide the voice of the alien Corps member Tomar-Re. Read More...

DESCPeople can get pretty opinionated on their choice of actors when comic books get made into movies, and “X-Men: First Class” director Matthew Vaughn only had two men in mind for the casting of villain Sebastian Shaw. For him, it was either going to be Kevin Bacon or Colin Firth.

Kevin Bacon ended up with the role, but Vaughn told TotalFilm that Firth was high in the running.

“There were only two people I wanted for Shaw,” he said. “It was between Colin Firth and Kevin Bacon.” Read More...

DESCAs the actor playing Charles Xavier in the soon-to-be-released “X-Men: First Class,” James McAvoy has plenty to say about the movie, his character, and any possible sequels.

Speaking with the Italian publication Comicus, McAvoy revealed some details about the plot of the upcoming film.

"It’s about the burgeoning tension between these two characters, Erik Lehnsherr, played by Michael Fassbender, and my character, Charles Xavier,” he said. “And on a greater level, it’s about where this new species of mutants is going to go. It can go two ways: they can regard themselves as the next step of human evolution or they can regard themselves as an entirely new species in conflict with humanity.” Read More...

DESCZach Galifianakis has announced that he will no longer be starring in “R.I.P.D.” alongside Ryan Reynolds. This comes approximately two months after Galifianakis first got involved with the film.

According to a report at Deadline, Galifianakis has dropped out not because he dislikes the script about undead cops, but because of all-important scheduling reasons. With other things on his plate — namely “Southern Rivals” for Warner Brothers and the series “Bored to Death” for HBO — things simply got too hectic.

If you ever wondered what Wolverine would sound like speaking Japanese, here’s your chance to find out. G4 has released a three and a half minute clip of the “Wolverine” anime and it’s still in its original language.

Spinoff Online posted the clip, which G4 has released to give fans a taste of what they’ll get once it hits the station. You might not be able to understand all that Wolverine’s saying (he does say something pretty classic in English at the end, though), but this gives a feel of the style and animation. There’s plenty of fighting action on top of a skyscraper and Wolverine shows off his powers by attacking invisible people with his claws. The action continues while falling from that skyscraper and Wolverine makes it all look too easy.

With the release of “Thor” fast approaching next month, another clip from the movie has been released. And this time, the Asgardian warrior isn't the only superhero making an appearance.

The clip from IGN, which is a little less than a minute long, shows Thor doing some down and dirty fighting (and it’s not just down and dirty because part of it is in the mud). But the video isn’t just about Chris Hemsworth strutting his stuff, fantastic though his action sequence may be. If you watch closely, you’ll also get to see a quick cameo of the arrow-shooting Hawkeye -- and no, I’m not talking Alan Alda!
