If you had any doubt as to whether Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" will be visually and technically awesome enough Snyder, Warner Bros. and Co., want to alleviate those anxieties by releasing the film in 3-D in select theaters.
That's right, it was announced Wednesday that Superman's super powers will be better viewed in three dimensions when the film is released on June 14, 2013.

So who had nightmares about Sunday's crazy casualty-heavy episode of "The Walking Dead?" If you didn't have nightmares, you may have instead shed some major tears over what transpired due to the ep's incredible emotional punch to the gut, heart, soul.

For those of you counting down the days until the Oct. 10 premiere of "Arrow" on the CW, we share in your enthusiastic anticipation, particularly because this writer can't go anywhere without seeing star Stephen Amell and his toned torso plastered up on billboards everywhere. When MTV News caught up with the leading man at the iHeartRadio Fest in Las Vegas recently, we asked for his thoughts on CW's not-so-subtle marketing strategy.
"I'm in Vancouver, I don't see anything!" he said. "I just see what people send me on my Twitter account, which doesn't suck by the way, it's pretty awesome."
Also awesome was the fact that minutes after completing our chat with Amell, his costar Colin Donnell arrived for a chat and Amell couldn't resist coming back into frame to give his buddy some adorable touchy-feely bromantic love.

No matter what reservations, hangups or cautious optimism you may be harboring for "Man of Steel" and the man who's playing him, Henry Cavill, one thing is becoming very clear: Cavill is Superman. Or at least his performance has his fellow cast members and crew fully convinced that he is absolutely the best man for the gig.

Remember that exciting box office-related news announced recently regarding summer favorite "The Avengers" and its very impressive sales figure feat in crossing the $1.5 billion mark? Naturally the industry experts and analysts have had a field day with that stat, but who better to weigh-in on said achievement than box office champ himself, James Cameron?
When MTV News caught up with the 'King' recently during a press day pegged to the DVD/Blu-ray release of "Titanic 3D," we had to ask his thoughts on the film and its encroachment upon his billion-dollar babies.
"They got close. They didn't break the $2 billion-dollar barrier, there's only two in the club," Cameron said with a wink and a smile, speaking to "Titanic" and "Avatar," and then added that he welcomed the healthy competition. "But you know, come on, let's go guys."

We've got to hand it to the "Kick-Ass 2" cast and crew for all the excellent teasery they've been throwing our way recently, not counting the intriguing casting announcements. Allow us to add a little more well-crafted plot hinting via a recent chat with star Aaron Johnson, during which he explained some changes from comic-to-film, tweaks to certain costumes and danced around the Mother Russia casting, which was unveiled after the interview.
"I'm back in the wet suit but there are quite a few alterations on others' [costumes]," Johnson told MTV News of getting back into that memorable green suit, all during the press day for his period drama "Anna Karenina." "You'll see that there's not such a transition in him at first but there is a journey that he goes on."

After all the teasers and posters and preview screenings at Comic-Con, which I missed, I'm ready to see "Dredd" already. September 21 is still too far away for my liking, but luckily for me and my fellow fans of the upcoming big screen reinvention of the cult British comic, we have a new poster to ogle. See it below!

Now that we've had some time to digest news about the next batch of Marvel movies, enough of the initial excitement has worn off and we're left in a waiting period. Waiting for the far-off release dates, waiting for further casting, over-analyzing potential plot lines, the list goes on and on.
Coming off the crazy success of "The Avengers," the most intriguing aspects of "Iron Man 3" and the "Captain America" and "Thor" sequels are how and if the other Avengers will lend a hand plot or cameo-wise. I for one was very pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the arc of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Natasha Romanov and Clint Barton and would love to see them onscreen again sooner rather than later.
