The Walking DeadBy Chris Arrant

There were many announcements made at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo last weekend, but one of the most eye-opening of them all was when ”The Walking Dead” actress Laurie Holden relayed a rumor that horror novelist Stephen King was going to write an episode of the series. That ignited a firestorm of speculation – speculation that was turned into anticipation when the rumor was confirmed with the novelist himself.

“['The Walking Dead' showrunner Frank Darabont] has expressed enthusiastic interest for Season 2 or possibly 3,” King told Entertainment Weekly, confirming Holden's comments in a C2E2 panel report by Comic Book Resources.

The WolverineNow that Darren Aronofsky is no longer directing "The Wolverine," the field is wide open for another filmmaker interested in tackling Logan's second solo adventure.

Way back in September 2010, before Aronofsky was confirmed for the gig, we suggested five directors we thought would be good for the project (he was one of them). In the months that since, we've learned more about the film and, well... let's just say it's time to revise our list.

When MTV News caught up with Snyder during a press event for his new film "Sucker Punch," we asked him what won Cavill the Superman role over other rumored contenders like "True Blood" actor Joe Manganiello.

"Henry's just ... I love Joe too, by the way," Snyder told MTV News. "Really he was the only other guy I was thinking of, to be honest, other than Henry." Read More...
