Olivia Wilde has had a summer of working with top leading men like Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Ryan Reynolds, and now she’s hoping to add Tom Cruise to her list of on-screen partners.
The "Cowboys & Aliens" actress is trying out for a role in Cruise’s upcoming project, the sci-fi extravaganza, “Horizon,” which was formerly titled "Oblivion," according to Variety.
There are two possible roles that Wilde could be auditioning for: the first is the character Julia, who is the fiancé of Cruise’s character, Jack; the second is the part of Victoria, Jack’s able assistant who’s his partner-in-crime on missions to a post-apocalyptic Earth. Going by the character descriptions, I’m hoping Wilde lands the role of Victoria – the girl’s got some ass kicking potential in her!
