Ophelia Lovibond

It's still unclear who will play "Guardians of the Galaxy's" Rocket Raccoon or Groot, but the movie is busy filling in its secondary roles. Michael Rooker is playing Yondu Udonta, and now Ophelia Lovibond has reportedly been cast in the movie.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, and Comic Book Movie describes her role as "an aide to a being called The Collector, who gathers artifacts and beings in the hopes of saving them from a foretold galactic annihilation." That sounds like confirmation to us that The Collector will have a role either in "Guardians of the Galaxy" or in a future MCU film as well.

Man of Steel

Want an early taste of Henry Cavill's portrayal of Superman in "Man of Steel"? Well you can have it, because the British actor has revealed the four comics that most inspired his version of the Man of Steel.

"I read as much as I could, purely because I wanted to get a great reservoir of knowledge from the source material," he told Entertainment Weekly. "There are so many different representations of the character that it was easy to draw a baseline and pick and choose some flavors. They're all facets and aspects of the same character, so you've just got to combine them and can play around with them and apply it to the script."

Find out what the comics were after the jump.

Fantastic Four

It seems as though Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four" reboot will start filming a few months earlier than we expected. After an initial report that the film would start shooting in September, it's being said that the new movie will actually go in front of the lens in June.

"Fox's reboot of FANTASTIC FOUR working title HENRY STREET is scheduled to begin filming in Vancouver on June 17th," Production Weekly reports. Though Production Weekly has a good track record with scoops like this, a June start date seems a bit optimistic based on "Fantastic Four's" current state.

Faora

You've likely already seen the images from Entertainment Weekly's awesome Summer Movie Preview featuring "Man of Steel" front and center. The outlet has recently released the stills in high quality after they debuted in the magazine, giving fans a full look at Faora in her armor.

The villainous Kryptionian looks pretty intimidating in the outfit, which is fairly similar to the one we've seen Zod wearing. Both look a bit more protective than Superman's suit, though his whole indestructible body thing sort of makes up for that.

Falcon

Expect Anthony Mackie's character Falcon to play a pretty big role in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." In a recent interview with BlackFilm, Mackie teased the way Falcon and his "military style tactical costume" will play a major part in the plot of the upcoming Marvel superhero film.

"I'm happy to say that I’m in a good deal of the movie and I play an integral part with Captain America taking down the Winter Soldier. It's great," Mackie told BlackFilm. "They started the shoot two-and-a-half weeks ago and once I finished doing press for 'Pain & Gain,' I go in and join them. I've been doing combat training and fitness training just to get prepared. It's going to be something and I'm excited for it."

Havok

It might be officially time to sing Lucas Till's "X-Men" swan song. The "X-Men: First Class" actor claims he still hasn't been asked back for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," and considering the movie starts shooting in Canada in three days, it seems unlikely that he'll be coming back at all.

When ShockTillYouDrop asked Till straight out if Havoc will be returning in "Days of Future Past," he said, "You know what? I wish I could tell you, but unfortunately I still can’t give you an answer." Though that seems like it gives a pretty clear answer about Havoc's status, there always is a chance director Bryan Singer could bring Till to set later on in the shoot.

Dredd

A "Dredd 3D" sequel film might not be in the works, but the movie's story will still continue on in a different form. IGN got a confirmation from 2000 AD that a sequel will be coming out as a comic book in September.

Adi Shankar, who produced "Dredd 3D," teased back in March that he is working on a "Dredd" sequel short film. It's unclear if this comic will replace that or if they will somehow be tied together somehow. Regardless, it's awesome that the "Dredd 3D" story is continuing on in one way or another.

Check out the full sequel tease after the jump.

Justice League

It seems as though Warner Bros.' plans to build a larger DC cinematic film universe will begin with "Man of Steel." Producer Chris Roven confirmed in a recent interview that the upcoming Superman movie will set the stage for more DC characters being introduced.

"['Man of Steel's'] setting the tone for what the movies are going to be like going forward. In that, 'Man of Steel' is definitely a first step," he told Entertainment Weekly. "What Zack [Snyder] and Chris [Nolan] have done with ['Man of Steel'] is allow you to really introduce other characters into the same world."

Iron Man

The 2013 MTV Movie Awards are this Sunday, April 14th. The fate of one category, Best Hero, rests in your social-media-savvy hands. In this heartfelt opinion piece, Splash Page writer Terri Schwartz passionately explains why Iron Man deserves your vote.

When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's no secret who the most popular Avenger is. Let's give you some hints: his third standalone movie is coming out in less than a month, his two films made more money than the rest of the standalone Marvel movies combined and he's got a sweet collection of armored suits. If you guessed we were talking about Iron Man, than you would be correct.

Of course, Iron Man's coolness comes from more than just the fact he rakes in the big bucks for his mother studio. Tony Stark's also hilarious, has great taste in cars, and what's that phrase he likes to say? Oh yeah, he's a "genius billionaire playboy philanthropist." With that being said, is there really a question about who you should vote to win the MTV Movie Awards Best Hero award?

Andy Richter

"The Walking Dead" might have just completed its third season, but Andy Richter is making sure that the show stays close to our hearts. For a segment on "Conan," Richter took a tour of Atlanta dressed as one of the AMC show's zombies.

It seems that Richter stopped by "The Walking Dead's" make-up trailer while he was in Georgia and got the full walker treatment. The application of his new look took two hours, so it's no wonder that he didn't want to wash it off when he went to other culturally significant places in Atlanta like the aquarium, the High Museum of Art and the CNN building. The reactions of other visitors to his zombified look aren't as extreme as we would have expected, but they're still pretty hilarious. Check out the full video below.
