Planet Hulk

The Marvel movie headline of the day is that "Planet Hulk" is reportedly in the works for Phase Three, paving the way for a third "Avengers" film based on "World War Hulk." We'll give you a minute to process that potential awesomeness.

Kick-Ass

Self-appointed superhero Kick-Ass isn't done fighting crime — but he's getting pretty close.

In an interview with SFX Magazine, comic book writer Mark Millar spoke a bit about the "Kick-Ass" franchise and whether or not he sees an ending in sight. It turns out that he does see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it'll all come crashing to a head with "Kick-Ass 3."

At long last, Marvel has found its new leading lady for the "Captain America" franchise — and she's hell-bent on getting "Revenge."

According to Deadline, "Revenge" actress Emily VanCamp has landed the coveted female lead in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," the April 2014 blockbuster starring Chris Evans as the star-spangled super-soldier. The exact identity of the character remains under wraps, though popular opinion pegs it as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Sharon Carter, relative of Cap's first lady love, Peggy.

Planet Hulk

Remember when we asked Kevin Feige about the chances of a "Planet Hulk" movie? Looks like we were onto something!

El Mayimbe at Latino Review posted an extensive report on how Bruce Banner fits into the future of Marvel Studios. Outside of "The Avengers 2," Hulk's place in the ongoing Marvel saga is sketchy at best — but according to the report, we'll be seeing a lot more of him in Phase Three.

Marvel Studios have released two new photos from their upcoming 2013 releases, "Iron Man 3" and "Thor: The Dark World."

Up first is the photo you see above, featuring British actress Rebecca Hall as brilliant scientist Maya Hansen. Hansen was recently described as a female version of Tony Stark both in terms of intellect as well as her snarkiness; it's a character we can't wait to see more of, to say the least.

First Class

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" brings two different generations of "X-Men" casts together for the first time — and now, based on a new report, we know when they're gathering, too.

The eagle-eyed folks at ComicBookMovie.com unearthed a casting call for Bryan Singer's next "X-Men" film that puts the movie's starting point at 1973. That's more than a decade after the events of "First Class," completely skipping over Matthew Vaughn's original plan to begin the "First Class" sequel with Magneto assassinating John F. Kennedy.
