"Cla$$war," the celebrated miniseries that follows a government-created super-soldier as he discovers the terrible truth about the program that created him, has been optioned by "Surrogates" production company Mandeville Films.
Written by Rob Williams with art by Trevor Hairsine and Travel Foreman, "Cla$$war" was published from 2002-2004 by Com.x. The series featured a scientifically engineered, government-sponsored superhero called The American as he comes to terms with the political implications of his existence and is forced to battle the rest of his super-powered team.
According to Com.x, which will announce more details about the deal during a panel at 7 PM EST (4 PM PST) today at Long Beach Comic Con, Rick Alexander of Alexander Content will co-produce the "Cla$$war" movie with Mandeville’s David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman.
