Cartoon Network has picked up “Necessary Evil,” Joshua Williamson and Marcus L. Harris' comic book series about two brothers who go to a school for supervillains after their mother, the greatest supervillain of all time, is murdered.
Published by Desperado Publishing and collected in trade paperback, "Necessary Evil" was picked up as part of the network's "live-action initiative" and is slated for production as a weekly television series.
"Being a part of the Cartoon Network's new live-action programming is an amazing opportunity," said Williamson said via a CN press release. "The writers are doing a terrific job translating the book and the story to the small screen.
