'Super Friends'Allow me a moment to delve into a bit of vanity here -- I love 'Super Friends' and I'm not even close to ashamed to admit it. If you were to ask me why, I honestly couldn't tell you, but nothing brings a smile to my otherwise expressionless face faster than the words "'Super Friends' Marathon."

And now I get to have a 'Super Friends' marathon whenever I darn well please, thanks to Warner Home Video's upcoming box set collecting volume 2 of the first season of the show. Following the adventures of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and The Wonder Twins, Zan and Jayna, DC Comics' premiere super-squad faced off against a bevy of dangers and supervillains, and along the way, offered up safety tips and magic tricks to Saturday morning viewers. And there was a space monkey!

After the jump, check out the box art and special features. I will now return you to the actual comic book movie news you come to expect from Splash Page. Read More...

'Wonder Woman'While the likes of Superman and Batman have been dominating the blogosphere lately in terms of where their next big-budget movies currently stand, very little has been said (with the exception of your friends here at Splash, natch) about the third member of DC's super-powered trinity, Wonder Woman, and the status of her highly-anticipated foray into the world of multiplexes.

However, with the release of the new "Incredible Hulk" DVD, those who were hoping to see Cap make his cinematic debut (yes, debut -- we're just gonna forget about the original 1990 film) can finally catch a glimpse -- and the key word being "glimpse" -- of Cap and his mighty shield thanks to the new highly-touted alternate opening scene which takes place in the Arctic Circle, where a despondent Bruce Banner goes to kill himself having failed to come up with a cure for his curse.
