Walking Dead

What did you think of the first meeting between Rick and the Governor, "Walking Dead" heads? If you're anything like series lead Andrew Lincoln, you were both surprised and moved by the long-awaited non-violent confrontation between these very-violent men.

"It turned into something really interesting," the actor told MTV News about this week's episode. "There were more mind games, two men sizing each other up, and trying to come to some semblance of an agreement. It was fun. We didn't really talk so much when we were working together because of the nature of the atmosphere in the room, but it was great to get these two men in the same room, to see how they respond to each other."

In case you didn't hear already, "Walking Dead" mastermind Robert Kirkman appeared on "Conan," chatting with the talk show host about life in the zombie apocalypse. Among the topics covered: the various "Walking Dead" products that Kirkman has turned down in his time (perfume? really?), some of Conan's biggest nitpicks with the series, and the reveal of a brand-new clip from this Sunday's coming episode, "Arrow on the Doorpost."

Bring out your "Dead" — the walkers are crawling back to your gaming console of choice in no time at all.

It was reported recently that Telltale Games was planning a second season of their award-winning "Walking Dead" video game adaptation for a Fall 2014 release. But season two is coming much sooner than that, it turns out, as MTV Multiplayer points out this quote from Telltale:

Of the many topics covered on "The Walking Dead," the AMC series has never dealt with racism in the post-zombie apocalypse world quite like "Saturday Night Live" did this past weekend. "SNL" host Kevin Hart played a black man who was turned into a zombie in front of Rick, Carl, Maggie and Daryl, but the four "Walking Dead" characters were too afraid of being racist to offend the other man by turning him away.

Hilarious, or offensive? You decide! Watch the video after the jump and let us know what you think.

And with a showdown imminent between the two groups of survivors, this week's episode was all about subtle shifts and sadistic strategy, as each leader pushed his pawns into place. Where do we stand after "I Ain't a Judas"? Read on.

"The Walking Dead" ain't a Judas, as it'll prove to you in Sunday's new episode titled, appropriately enough, "I Ain't a Judas." But you could forgive the survivors living in the prison for casting suspicious glances at new inmates Michonne and Merle Dixon. Though the sword-swinging zombie-killer is nowhere to be found in these four new photos from the coming "Walking Dead" episode, Merle is all over the place, assault rifle in hand, safely behind the prison walls. Either he's officially part of the team, or he's taking matters into his own hands. Er, hand.
