New 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' Clip: Love Is A Battlefield

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The WorldWith just under a month before "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" kicks its way into movie theaters, a new clip shows a decidedly different side of the film than we've seen to date.

Comic Alliance debuted the new footage (but doesn't let you embed the video) which focuses on the love triangle between Scott (Michael Cera), Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and the aptly named, Knives Chau (Ellen Wong).

While the clip doesn't offer much in the way of new footage, it does depict Scott's attempt to decide between Ramona and Knives before admitting that he sees a future with Ramona "with jetpacks." Read More...

'Scott Pilgrim' Cast Will Customize Your Clothes At Comic-Con

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Comic-ConThe marketing team behind "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" already set up a system to give out customized Bryan Lee O'Malley-esque avatars. When Comic-Con rolls around in a couple of weeks, however, Michael Cera and Edgar Wright will reportedly be making real-life personalized T-shirts across the street from the convention center.

Beginning on Thursday, July 22, Cera, Wright, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Anna Kendrick will be taking turns operating a "make-your-own-T-shirt stand" somewhere in or near the Hilton Gaslamp, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The promotion will be a part of a campaign called "Scott Pilgrim vs. Comic-Con" that also includes a DJ room and likely many other bells and whistles promoting the movie's August 13 release date. Scott PilgrimA new international poster for "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" has arrived online, sporting the tagline "Get The Hot Girl. Defeat Her Evil Exes. Hit Love Where It Hurts."

Premiering over at Empire Online, the new poster features Scott, Ramona, and all seven evil exes. It also makes the wait until August 13 that much more difficult.

Don't worry, though, there's a lot you can do to kill time between now and then — starting with a few more minutes of ogling the new poster. Read More...

New 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' Trailer Punches Previous Trailer In Its Face

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The WorldA new international trailer for "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" has arrived online, and it's pretty safe to say that the trailer is so sweet that I needed a shot of insulin after watching it.

Originally posted on director Edgar Wright's blog, the new "Scott Pilgrim" trailer features more footage of Scott (Michael Cera), Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and the rest of their gang, as well as all of the evil exes. there's an extra-awesome scene at the very end featuring an exchange between vegan rocker Todd Ingram (Brandon Routh) and Scott.

Wright has also provided a list of the tracks featured in the new trailer, including "Big Ideas" by LCD Soundsystem, "2 Kindsa Love" by Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, "It’s Getting Boring By The Sea" by Blood Red Shoes, and "Invaders Must Die" by The Prodigy. Read More...

Edgar Wright Describes His 'Scott Pilgrim' Collaboration With Bryan Lee O'Malley

We've seen clips from "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World," images of the cast in costume, and even some footage from the extra-awesome "Scott Pilgrim" video game. But the one question everyone still wants to know is: Will it be anything like the books?

In an interview with MTV News, director Edgar Wright offered an answer to that very question, and described the collaborative process with "Scott Pilgrim" creator Bryan Lee O'Malley.

"We've worked very closely with the original author, Bryan Lee O'Malley," Wright told MTV News. "It's a different version of the story in a way, and we tried to structure it so it works more as a movie, and he's been very much involved in that process. In fact, on a couple of occasions, he's rewritten scenes that we've done, which is great." Read More...

'Scott Pilgrim' Game Trailer Promises To Shatter Your Expectations

Last week, we showed you some screenshots from the upcoming "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" video game. While those were certainly nice to look at, there's really nothing quite like gazing upon the real thing, is there?

Sadly, the game is still a few months away from release and there are no playable demos to speak of. There are, however, two new videos for the "Scott Pilgrim" game that have found their way online — and, unsurprisingly, they are glorious.

Hitting the Playstation Network in August and Xbox Live at some point down the line, the "Scott Pilgrim" game promises a 4-player co-op mode, rock battles and all of the side-scrolling beat-'em-up video game action that was so customary during the '80s and '90s. Read More...

The Evil Exes Of 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' Get The Spotlight In New Promo Posters

Scott PilgrimThe seven evil exes Scott Pilgrim must battle to win the heart of Ramona Flowers get the focus in a new set of posters promoting director Edgar Wright's "Scott Pilgrim Vs. World."

Posted over at Spanish-language site CinePremiere, the six posters (the Katayanagi twins share a poster) each offer a nice profile of the opponents Michael Cera's character will face in the much-anticipated film — including a great shot of final ex Gideon Graves (played by Jason Schwartzman).

Edgar Wright On The 'Scott Pilgrim' Test-Screening Process And Final Cut

Last weekend we gave you a brand new, exclusive clip from "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World," but we're still a few months away from Edgar Wright's adaptation of the hit comic book series hitting theaters.

So, where is everything at with "Scott Pilgrim"? MTV News got the scoop straight from Wright about the status of the much-anticipated film.

More 'Scott Pilgrim' Video Game Images And Info Hit The 'Net!

Scott PilgrimWe first told you about the upcoming "Scott Pilgrim" video game way back in August 2009, and it's hard to believe the wait is almost over for the retro-tastic, interactive journey through Scott Pilgrim's universe.

Over at GameInformer, they've posted four new images from the game, as well as a hands-on review of the game, which will be available as a downloadable Playstation Network exclusive this August — right in time for the film's release. (Don't worry, Xbox Nation, it will be available on the 360 at some point, too — though I'm so happy I own a PS3 right now.)

The images offer a great look at the visual tone of the game, which is appropriately old-school in both graphics and gameplay style. According to the report, the four-player brawler doesn't feature online play, but it does give you control of Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Kim Pine, or Stephen Stills. Publisher Ubisoft hinted at some unlockable characters down the road, too. Read More...

We've created a gallery of images that highlight the new clip's footage of one of the film's early action sequences. The scene features Scott Pilgrim's encounter with Ramona's evil ex-boyfriend #2, skateboarder-turned-actor Lucas Lee (expertly cast and played by Chris Evans).
