It's a bit of an "Iron Man 3" overload today, but we're not complaining, certainly not when we're receiving our first official look at Ben Kingsley as the big bad Mandarin.

Mandarin

Ahead of the upcoming "Iron Man 3" trailer, Entertainment Weekly debuted the first photo of Kingsley's evil mastermind, and as you can see, the big-screen take on the character is a bit of a departure from the villain we know from the comic books. It's not just a series of visual changes, either, as Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige promises a few additional modifications to Mandarin's background.

Wolverine

By Victoria McCarthy

There was Batman and Robin. There was Thelma and Louise. There was Andre 3000 and Big Boi. But it looks like a new dynamic duo is bursting onto the scene. The pair in question: who else but our favorite bestial bad boy Wolverine, and emerging South Korean super star sidekick, PSY? That's right, YouTube surfers and comic book collectors; the universe has granted us a most unique gift, the chance to see X-Men go Gangnam Style.

This was the scene yesterday, as viral video golden boy PSY swopped onto the set of "The Wolverine," a revamped sequel to the 2009 "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." Hugh Jackman is currently filming the reboot in Australia, whilst awaiting his portrayal of Broadway behemoth Jean Valjean in Tom Hooper's "Les Miserable" to hit the big screen in December.

Walking Dead

"The Walking Dead" is about to go directly to jail, with season three premiering on Sunday (October 14) and showing us a brand new safe haven for our not-so-merry band of survivors. Not all of our heroes will be headed behind bars, but that's the fate that awaits the vast majority of the show's main characters.

Before the premiere, though, it's worth taking the pulse of where the characters were physically and emotionally when last we saw them. Read on for our rundown!

Wolverine

After getting a bit too hairy for our comfort level, Hugh Jackman has returned to the Wolverine look we all know and love.

A batch of new photos from the set of "The Wolverine have hit the web courtesy of Kinopoisk (via ComicBookMovie.com), and they show that Jackman has trimmed off the excess facial hair and returned to the classic Logan we first met in 2000's "X-Men." In fact, he might have trimmed just a little too close because he's on the border of just looking like plain Hugh Jackman (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Note to Daniel Radcliffe fans: lightning bolt scars are yesterday's fad. Starting now, if you want to model your cosplay habits after the erstwhile "Harry Potter" actor, we recommend applying devil horns to your forehead. That's what the "Potter" star is going after in his new thriller "Horns," based on the novel by "Locke & Key" writer Joe Hill.

Horns

But did Radcliffe accomplish his other mission — making sure his horned visage is as far away from Ron Perlman's Hellboy as possible? Look above at the two unexpected heroes side-by-side, and you be the judge.

Jim Carrey

"Kick-Ass" had its Big Daddy in Nicolas Cage, and the sequel is looking to add an equal amount of "star" power with its Colonel Stars — played by none other than Jim Carrey.

An unusual casting choice on the surface, but fans of the comics worried about Carrey's suitability don't need to look much further than new photos from the Toronto set of "Kick-Ass 2" to see that "The Mask" comedian is the spitting image of the Colonel Stars seen in Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s comic book series.
