After getting a bit too hairy for our comfort level, Hugh Jackman has returned to the Wolverine look we all know and love.
A batch of new photos from the set of "The Wolverine have hit the web courtesy of Kinopoisk (via ComicBookMovie.com), and they show that Jackman has trimmed off the excess facial hair and returned to the classic Logan we first met in 2000's "X-Men." In fact, he might have trimmed just a little too close because he's on the border of just looking like plain Hugh Jackman (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Note to Daniel Radcliffe fans: lightning bolt scars are yesterday's fad. Starting now, if you want to model your cosplay habits after the erstwhile "Harry Potter" actor, we recommend applying devil horns to your forehead. That's what the "Potter" star is going after in his new thriller "Horns," based on the novel by "Locke & Key" writer Joe Hill.
But did Radcliffe accomplish his other mission — making sure his horned visage is as far away from Ron Perlman's Hellboy as possible? Look above at the two unexpected heroes side-by-side, and you be the judge.
Kelly Hu, already well-versed in comic book lore having played Lady Deathstrike in "X2: X-Men United," is turning to the paneled page once again in "Arrow," playing DC villain China White — and today brings your first look at the white-haired mercenary.

"Kick-Ass" had its Big Daddy in Nicolas Cage, and the sequel is looking to add an equal amount of "star" power with its Colonel Stars — played by none other than Jim Carrey.
An unusual casting choice on the surface, but fans of the comics worried about Carrey's suitability don't need to look much further than new photos from the Toronto set of "Kick-Ass 2" to see that "The Mask" comedian is the spitting image of the Colonel Stars seen in Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s comic book series.
The first official photo from "The Wolverine," Hugh Jackman's long-in-the-making pseudo-sequel to "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," has landed online — and if you weren't insecure about your body image before, chances are you will be now.

The "Dark Knight" trilogy might be over, but we have a feeling we'll still be talking about it around these parts for years to come. In fact, today, we're looking back at the middle installment of the Christopher Nolan-helmed series — specifically, we're looking at the Clown Prince of Crime himself.
Reddit user tone_is_everything unearthed a "Dark Knight" photo gallery featuring Heath Ledger in full Joker make-up, going through multiple psychotic poses that are sure to put a smile on your face. See how he got those scars with a selection of photos posted below.
You've heard about the Mark XLVII and Iron Patriot armors debuting in "Iron Man 3" by now, right? Now you can get a better look at the two new suits in the concept art posted below.
Directed by Shane Black and starring Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle and Gwyneth Paltrow, the third "Iron Man" movie takes off on May 3, 2013. [via CBM]
Hit-Girl, meet your match: her name is Mother Russia, and she's a whole mess of big, mean and ugly.
Olga Kurkulina has been added to the "Kick-Ass 2" cast in the role of Red Mist's new bodyguard, a massive woman who will give both Dave Lizewski (aka Kick-Ass) and Mindy Macready (alias Hit-Girl) a run for their money in director Jeff Wadlow's action-packed sequel.
Wadlow tweeted out the image to the right, a tease of the Mother Russia rampage to come. Not a lot to go on for now, but take it from Mark Millar: when she and Hit-Girl finally collide, it's not going to be pretty.
Stay tuned for more as we get it!
With Batman, Joker, Bane and even Commissioner Gordon getting action figures of their very own, it was just a matter of time before another "Dark Knight" veteran, Selina Kyle, took her turn in the spotlight. The Hot Toys gang posted several new photos of their upcoming Catwoman toy, and as you can see below, the sculpt is purr-fect.

Thor is going places in "Thor: The Dark World." We just don't know where they are yet.
At least we now have a good idea of what they look like, though. SuperHeroHype has posted some new photos from the Bourne Woods set in England. The images are relatively spoiler-free but still offer us a good idea of what we can expect in the upcoming movie. Based on what we can see, the set looks similar to the visual style Kenneth Branagh created in 2011's "Thor."
But what is the land that we're seeing here? Is it supposed to be Svartalfheim, the land that the Dark Elves inhabit? Or is it some other realm that we haven't heard of yet? We know that this movie will travel beyond the boundaries of Earth and Asgard, but aren't quite sure exactly where.
