Wolverine

by Brett White

After debuting a new trailer earlier this week, "The Wolverine" just won't rest! Now the titular hero is gracing the cover of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, leaving his claw marks on the magazine's logo. This new shot of Wolverine features Hugh Jackman ready to rumble, and with a face that's almost as mad as the one in a few of his posters.

Like the magazine's "Iron Man 3" and Marvel Phase 2 coverage from a few weeks ago, the magazine's cover story and Wolverine-themed contents should make their way online soon. Until then, the site's peek at the latest cover features one quote from Hugh Jackman regarding 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

"Somehow the first Wolverine movie ended up looking like the fourth X-Men – just with different characters," Jackman says. "I left unsure if we'd achieved our goal, which was to make sure people understood my character. This movie will really get to his core."

Speaking of core, Logan's really been working his (ba-dum bum)! Check out the cover below.

Mystique

by Brett White

Director Bryan Singer's Twitter feed has been producing some gold lately, with the director following up his first TwitPic of incoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actor Peter Dinklage with a first look at returning star Jennifer Lawrence, decked out in Mystique's signature shade of blue.

The character looks pretty much exactly as she did in "X-Men: First Class," even if the actress is now wearing a body suit instead of body paint. The suit looks great, as seen in the picture below; I can't tell the difference.

Peter Dinklage

by Brett White

Okay, well, he's landed by now. In a picture tweeted by "X-Men: Days of Future Past" director Bryan Singer, X-newcomer Peter Dinklage can be seen studying what looks like a script alongside the returning director on a flight to Montreal. Singer says that they're reviewing "tomorrow's work," which means that Dinklage has started shooting his still mysterious role.

Bautista Drax

by Brett White

Going by the TwitPic below, one could assume that Dave Bautista has begun his transformation into Drax the Destroyer for Marvel's cosmic film, "Guardians of the Galaxy." The wrestler turned actor tweeted a picture of himself undergoing a makeup session for an undisclosed project. The makeup looks a lot like Drax's signature eye markings.

For all the maybe-Drax-y goodness, check out the tweet and photo below.

Man of Steel

by Brett White

After a few posters showing off Superman taking flight, and another depicting Supes charging ahead, the latest "Man of Steel" image is way chill by comparison. The new shot shows Henry Cavill hovering calmly over Metropolis, glancing over his shoulder.

While the image has yet to be made into a poster, it will be used on the advance passes being sold at Walmarts starting on May 18th at 8 a.m. The "Man of Steel" Facebook page has all the details about obtaining the tickets, as well as a sneak peek at the tickets themselves (the negative space in the image is put to use, graphic designers!).

Wolverine

by Brett White

"The Wolverine" director James Mangold has been using his Twitter feed to talk a walk down memory lane, posting pictures from the film's production as the film nears it's July 26 release date.

Two of the tweets below show the director himself on set, directing actors and action sequences. Another tweet was taken this week, and announces that the film's score recording and sound mixing has begun. And the last tweet shows off Hugh Jackman getting up close and personal with Hiro Sanada. There aren't any major revelations to be found in any of the tweets, but it's still nice to see "The Wolverine" get a Twitter treatment similar to "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

You can check out all four Tweets below.

SHIELD

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is starting to seem like the gift that keeps on giving. After debuting a 30 second trailer on Sunday night, the show has gone on to launch a significant internet presence and inspired more than a few "Who is J. August Richards playing" posts both here and elsewhere. Now "S.H.I.E.L.D." has revealed exactly which hour of the week we'll be blocking off for total immersion into Marvel's world come this fall. "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will air on ABC on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. as the lead-in to a pair of comedies, "The Goldbergs" and "Trophy Wife."

And if a time slot isn't enough to hold you over, how about promo photos? Like, a lot of promo photos? ABC has released a few stills from the pilot and a ton of photos highlighting each principle cast member. Above you can see Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) possibly interrogating possible Rising Tide contributor Skye (Chloe Bennet), while Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) looks on. We don't know much about the pilot, so at this point anything is possible. Check out the rest of the photos below!

Perry White

Seven character photos from "Man of Steel" have surfaced online, and they're notable because not one of them features Superman (okay, Clark Kent is in one of them). It's appropriate that the "Man of Steel" marketing has centered squarely on Superman and his archnemesis General Zod, but that's left characters like both of Superman's sets of parents and essential supporting characters like Perry White out of the spotlight.

These photos, which popped up on Twitter, come from a movie tie-in book of some sort, as evidenced by the quick bios each character receives. The scans also give us a clear look at Christopher Meloni's Colonel Hardy and Ayelet Zurer's Lara Lor-Van. You can check out the full images below.

Of course, this being "The Walking Dead," he's not exactly alone.
