Professor X

by Brett White

I thought that the future X-Men's wardrobe was shocking? I hadn't seen anything yet. Bryan Singer has tweeted the first look at one of the 1973 X-Men and boy is it 1973. Like Foghat/Eagles/Supertramp level 1973. This movie is not messing around when it comes to period authenticity.

James McAvoy is shown hanging out on set, sitting in what we can only assume is Patrick Stewart's Professor X wheelchair, if only because it's so modern looking. The whole package is just beyond belief. The hair, the beard, the shirt and pants. Forget whatever Xavier said in "X-Men: First Class," this wardrobe is a groovy mutation.

Check out the full tweet and picture below. Warning: Professor X might look a lot like your dad did in those pictures he's embarrassed about.

Amazing Spider-Man 2

by Brett White

Another week, another TwitPic Round Up for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"! If you aren't following director Marc Webb on Twitter yet, can you really call yourself an "Amazing Spider-Man" fan? The guy posts a new set photo for pretty much every day of the film's shoot. Sure, not all of them offer insight into the film's plot, like the time he debuted Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon, but they're almost always entertaining.

Today's batch starts off with maybe the best TwitPic yet, one that shows our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man chatting with a fan better known as the Amazing Spider-Fan.

The latest "Amazing Spider-Man 2" set photos may not come directly from director Marc Webb (like so many have before), but they offer a deeper level of insight than any previous TwitPics. You can check out the images below, but be warned that possible spoilers lurk after the jump. Big ones. Ones that you'll wish you hadn't seen, if you're aiming to remain spoiler-free until the film opens next summer.

Kitty Pryde

by Brett White

The teases keep on coming from Bryan Singer's Twitter feed, with his iPhone camera now centering squarely on Ellen Page as she reprises her role as Kitty Pryde in "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

The TwitPic is the latest in a series of sneak peeks Singer has given us of actors onset, including Wolverine, Storm, Iceman and Professor X. These photos all show off what appears to be the X-Men's new unifying look: drab brown leather and dark suede. So... step up?

Check out the full tweet and picture of Kitty Pryde below.

Falcon

by Brett White

After debuting in the form of concept art, Captain America's ally Falcon has finally taken flight in the form of actor Anthony Mackie. And as the pictures show, it's not so much flight as being pulled backwards while pulling a total Wesley (very, very deep reference to "Angel" for all the Whedon-ites out there). The pictures come courtesy of WENN, who snapped the pictures while on the set of "Captain America: The Winter Solider. The photos can be checked out here.

Wolverine

Director Bryan Singer has provided fans with another sneak peek at one of the many mutant stars of next summer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past." This time Singer has turned his Twitter spotlight to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine... well, more like Wolverine's back.

In the latest Tweet from the director, Wolverine's back can be seen during a fitting. It looks like the actor has even ditched his classic black leather look for one closer to the character's original "Days of Future Past" look. That means out with the black leather and in with the brown. Check out the full tweet and photo below.

Amazing Spider-Man 2

The "Amazing Spider-Man 2" crew have been busy over the last few days, with their shooting schedule taking them through seemingly corporate boardrooms of vague ownership and out onto the streets of Manhattan (or rather their elaborate recreation, located outside of New York City). Director Marc Webb has been documenting the proceedings via his Twitter feed, at times being augmented by onlookers capturing set videos. You can check out the tweets and photos below, as well as a set video of Spider-Man and Electro's possible first encounter.

Man of Steel

Henry Cavill sure does look great in the Superman suit. Two new promotional images for Twizzler's "Man of Steel" campaign have hit the web and they show that Cavill has the look of Superman, even if he is promoting candy instead of super-punching bad guys.

Twizzler recently launched a "Man of Steel" contest slated to run from April 29 to July 7 that is open only to legal residents of Canada. The grand prize is a trip for four to Alaska. There will also be indoor/outdoor 72" inflatable theater kits doled out over the next 10 weeks for 10 lucky winners. One of the new images can be seen above, and the other lies just after the jump.

The crew of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" stopped by New York City's Financial District to shoot some daring aerial stunts on the side of a building, thus making the shoot vulnerable to the citizens of New York's Tumblr and Instagram feeds. Several photos have popped up on the "Amazing Spider-Man 2" tag, and they all show the new Spidey suit in action.

You can check out some of the pictures below.
