Amazing Spider-Man 2

by Brett White

Comic Book Movie has a few new pictures of "Amazing Spider-Man 2's" pretty elaborate Ravencroft Institute set, courtesy of Seven Web Heads. The shots contain an even more detailed look at the set's many nooks and crannies, including one possible Easter egg that may or may not play a role in the film.

You should definitely check out the entire photo set over at Comic Book Movie, and you can check out a couple of the photos below.

Man of Steel Empire

by Brett White

A ton of new images from "Man of Steel" have debuted in the latest issue of Empire Magazine. The magazine contains nearly a dozen new images from the film and sports two different covers. The dueling Superman and General Zod covers feature the central figures in full body portraits, giving us a detailed look at the Kryptonians. Plus they would also make for rad paper dolls if that kind of thing is your bag. I'm not here to judge; it's your Etsy shop!

The images certainly build on the uber-excitement fans have been feeling since the third trailer was released to universal acclaim. That's right, universal. Comic Book Movie has all of the stills from the magazine, and they're all worth checking out. You can check out the two covers and some of the images below, including one downright fierce Faora face.

Storm

by Brett White

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" director Bryan Singer is putting his Twitter feed to good use again today, after announcing another cast member (Adan Canto) over the weekend. The director has released the first shot of Halle Berry reprising her role as Storm, and this photo is way more head-on than the previous looks at Beast, Professor X and Iceman. The photo is so revealing that it could double as an official movie promo image, if, you know, it wasn't taken on an iPhone.

USA Today has delivered a gift from the gods! From on high comes two new set photos from "Thor: The Dark World" as well as a revealing interview with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and actor Chris Hemsworth. The images come hot on the heels of the film's first teaser poster, which was unveiled on Friday. As every day pulls us closer to the November release date, we'll be getting more and more Thor.

The pair of images show off Thor's dual nature. On the one hand, he's smiling next to Jane Foster, who he's just brought to Asgard. The other hand, as it turns out, is holding Mjolnir and ready for battle. Check out the two images below.

Dane DeHaan

by Brett White

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" had a big weekend on Twitter, with both actor Dane DeHaan and director Marc Webb tweeting out first looks at characters from next summer's Spider-Man sequel. So far set photos have featured extensive shots of the Ravencroft and Times Square sets, as well as actors Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Jamie Foxx famously joined the shoot last week, as he was spotted all Electro'd up on set last week.

Now, going by these pictures, Dane DeHaan has started filming and Foxx has scrubbed all that blue make-up off. You can view both of the tweets and pictures from Dane DeHaan and Marc Webb below.

Wolverine

by Brett White

A couple of new stills from "The Wolverine" debuted at CinemaCon yesterday. The images depict Wolverine in action, even if some ninjas are trying to put a stop to that action. One of the images previously popped up in a scan from Entertainment Weekly, but it's nice to see it here in its full glory. Things have been relatively quiet for "The Wolverine" as "Iron Man 3" and "Man of Steel" get closer to their release dates. The last big news we had for "Wolverine" was back when its first two trailers were released, which you should definitely re-watch if you haven't in a while.

You can click on the two images below to get the full high-res experience, and you can also find these, as well as one older one, over at Comic Book Movie.

Man of Steel

Yahoo Movies has capped off a celebratory slide show commemorating Superman's 75th birthday with a new still from the upcoming superfilm, "Man of Steel." The image, which can be seen in full below, finds Superman with his back to a tank. The still most likely comes from a moment seen briefly in the trailer, wherein a whole mess of tanks and soldiers line up in front of Superman, most likely hoping to take the Kryptonian down.

Check out the full photo below, as well as a rundown of MTV Geek's Superman birthday coverage!

Amazing Spider-Man 2

When "Amazing Spider-Man 2" wraps shooting, director Marc Webb will be able to put together one mighty impressive scrapbook. Webb has been tweeting pictures from the film's replica Times Square set for the past few weeks, as evidenced by our two previous TwitPic Round Ups.

This installment in the blog series (yep, it's a series now!) captures the crew hard at work. They're stilll hanging out at the Times Square set up in Bethpage, New York, with the occasional jaunt to New York City locations like Union Square in New York City) Check out all the pictures below.

Apparently if you shoot a date scene for a highly anticipated movie starring two super popular actors in one of the busiest areas of New York City, people will notice. They'll also take a ton of pictures a post them all over the internet, which is exactly what has happened after "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" shot in Union Square last night. The scene in question was between Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, the photos capturing many playful and intimate moments between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.

The photos pictured below come from imgaro.tumblr.com, which still has dozens more photos worth checking out. The "tasm2" tag on Tumblr has also blown up with photos from cell phones and professional cameras continuing to pop up. At least a lot of people were on hand to capture what's sure to be Peter and Gwen's happiest moment in the sequel (it's a superhero film, so conflict is coming!).

Cap_Winter_Shoot_001_final

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" has been shooting for a few weeks now, and there are finally photos to prove it. The photos confirm a number of things previously told to us (these first two sentences really paint me as a lot more skeptical than I actually am... or do they?!). First confirmation: Captain America has a new suit that owes a lot to his Super-Soldier duds from a few years back. Second confirmation: Captain American and Black Widow will a dynamic duo in the film. Both of these tidbits are exciting. Seeing them captured in photographs? Ridiculously exciting.

The shots capture Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson in full costume and standing on a walkway in an industrial location. Check out the revealing images at JFX Online.
