Jackman Mangold

by Brett White

With the first footage of "The Wolverine" set to debut later this month, anticipation for Logan's latest solo adventure is definitely building up. Director James Mangold is feeding into that anticipation by keeping an active Twitter feed chronicling the film's production. He's now released black and white portraits of Wolverine himself and two of his co-stars, Rila Fukushima and Tao Okamoto.

First up, Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine. This pic shows Wolverine at his most serene, which is a change of pace as the rest of the photos of the titular character have focused on his superhuman physique.

Man of Steel

Superman and Lois Lane are front and center on the cover of the new issue of Total Film, with the promise of extensive "Man of Steel" coverage to come. Not a lot of information to go on just yet, but Henry Cavill and Amy Adams sure do look pretty!

Spider-Man is back on the streets, and by all accounts, Peter Parker has hit the jackpot.

Spider-Man

Even more new set photos from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" have hit the web today, featuring the first meeting between Andrew Garfield and Shailene Woodley. That's the new Mary Jane Watson, in case you haven't been keeping up. The two are all laughs in the photo as MJ prepares to wheel off on her motorcycle.

Wolverine

Just like Bryan Singer, Marc Webb and Jeff Wadlow, "The Wolverine" director James Mangold is doing his best to get fans hyped for his new movie by sharing plenty of tidbits from the set on social media. The latest image he's posted shows production being completed on a gorgeous "The Wolverine" set.

"A shot from when we finished work on one of Francois Audouy's amazing sets. There's a world through that blast hole," he tweeted.

Spider-ManWe got a first look at Peter Parker's new costume in the first official "Amazing Spider-Man 2" photo earlier in the week. Now, here's the wall-crawler in action.

Photos have appeared online of Andrew Garfield back in the Spider-Man costume during a shoot in New York City. Spidey's new digs are on full display, from the bigger white bug-eyes to the return of the Spider-belt.

We must admit — Parker's looking sharp!

Man of Steel

Though it remains to be seen how big Russell Crowe's role as Jor-El will be in "Man of Steel," there's no denying he's pretty excited about the movie. Crowe visited "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and opened up about the film -- and what it means to be playing the father of Superman.

"It's a reboot of the franchise with Zack Snyder who did the '300' film, with a young English fellow called Henry Cavill as Superman or Kal-El as I would call him because he's my son," Crowe said. "Times have changed, I'm Superman's dad."

Hulk

What's it going to take to get the Hulk back on the big-screen in his own film? According to some reports, all it will take is patience. Ask Joss Whedon, and he says it'll take a little bit more than that.

"Hulk is a tricky son of a bitch," Whedon said at the Glasgow Film Festival. "He's the Claudio of superheroes. Because the problem is it’s a very popular character, but it’s not a superhero. Half of it’s a superhero, half of it’s a werewolf. And you can’t structure it like a superhero movie, you can’t light it like a superhero movie. How do you develop that?"

Spider-Man

Spider-Man doesn't swing back into theaters for more than another year. But today, with 14 months left to go before "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" hits the scene, we have our first look at the wall-crawler's new outfit.

Superhero Hype has the awesome exclusive on Spidey's new look: bigger, whiter eyes, and less of the basketball-mesh armor seen in the first "Amazing Spider-Man." Overall, it's a brighter-looking web-spinner — and in my opinion, it looks like the strongest costume of all the "Spider-Man" films so far.

Walking Dead

"The Walking Dead" ain't a Judas, as it'll prove to you in Sunday's new episode titled, appropriately enough, "I Ain't a Judas." But you could forgive the survivors living in the prison for casting suspicious glances at new inmates Michonne and Merle Dixon. Though the sword-swinging zombie-killer is nowhere to be found in these four new photos from the coming "Walking Dead" episode, Merle is all over the place, assault rifle in hand, safely behind the prison walls. Either he's officially part of the team, or he's taking matters into his own hands. Er, hand.

More photos below the break.
