Emily BluntDid Emily Blunt pass on playing Peggy Carter in "The First Avenger: Captain America" in favor of another comic book movie role? Is Harrison Ford gearing up for an alien invasion out in the Wild West? For the moment, the answer to both of those questions is a big, fat maybe.

Two rumors have reared their head over the past 24 hours, one pertaining to Blunt's decision to decline a role in "Captain America" and another suggesting that the erstwhile Indiana Jones is saddling up for an upcoming comic book movie.

In both cases, these rumors are fully noted as just that — rumors — but that doesn't make them any less interesting to consider! Read More...

Stopped on the red carpet at the Independent Spirit Awards Friday night, the "House" actress likened Favreau to a DJ and believes he's going to be able to please everyone.

"Jon Favreau likes to describe it as a mashup — he loves mashups when it comes to music," Wilde told MTV News. "So this is kind of a film mashup. I think that's cool, and it hasn't really been done that much before." Read More...

Cowboys And AliensNews regarding the adaptation of Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley's "Cowboys and Aliens" has put fans of the sci-fi western source material on something of a seesaw since the property was optioned a few years back. According to The Daily Beast, however, there's a few details fans can count on: Favreau is on board to direct and the Dreamworks film begins shooting this July.

Of course, there's still a bit of room for speculation, with TDB wondering if the more than $1 billion to-date box office success of James Cameron's "Avatar" might entice filmmakers to render "Cowboys and Aliens" in 3-D. Read More...
