Michonne"The Walking Dead" is done with its first season, but fans of the comic book series can attest to the fact that there are stunning plot twists and excellent characters still on the way — not the least of whom is Michonne.

When she first appears in "The Walking Dead," Michonne is equipped with a samurai sword and two zombies shackled by chains. In other words, this is a woman who means business, proving herself capable of overcoming extreme adversity thanks to quick thinking and ruthless efficiency on the battlefield.

Because of Frank Darabont's affinity for the character, Michonne is a likely candidate to join "The Walking Dead" for season two. If she does indeed join the series, here are five actresses we would love to see in the part. Read More...

The Dark Knight RisesThe search for Batman's new love interest -- and, apparently, a new female adversary -- is officially on.

News broke yesterday that director Christopher Nolan is on the hunt for two leading ladies for "The Dark Knight Rises," with six different actresses reported as the front runners for the job: Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway and Keira Knightley.

The characters that these actresses would be playing remains unclear, but even without that information, we can still imagine what it might be like if one or more of them winds up in Gotham City for the third Batman film. Read More...

ChewWith all of the excitement swirling around during Comic-Con this year, many fans missed the news that director Stephen Hopkins and Circle of Confusion are interested in developing John Layman and Rob Guillory's critically acclaimed "Chew" into a television series.

For those who aren't reading "Chew," the series focuses on Tony Chu, an FDA agent who gleans psychic information from anything he eats with the exception of beets. In other words, chewing on a murder victim's corpse could lead to a big break in the case. It's not the most glamorous ability in the world, but it absolutely makes for a compelling read.

Although it's very early in the proposed television adaptation's life, we're giving "Chew" the Secret Identity treatment anyway. Read on for our dream cast! Read More...

The Dark TowerA live-action adaptation of "The Dark Tower" is finally arriving thanks to a partnership between Ron Howard, Akiva Goldsman, Brian Grazer, Universal Pictures and NBC Universal Television Entertainment. But there's a catch — Stephen King's classic novel series is not only getting the big screen treatment with three film adaptations, but an accompanying television series drawing inspiration from the Marvel Comics prequels as well.

Clearly, whoever signs on for the lead role of Roland Deschain is committing to something huge. With three films and two seasons of television in the works, the would-be gunslinger is going to have a whole lot of "Dark Tower" in his life over the next several years.

That's certainly an important consideration in finding the right Roland, but there are many other factors to pay attention to as well, not the least of which is the fact that Roland is one of the most nuanced and complicated roles in King's library of characters. It requires an actor who can really sink his teeth into someone who isn't always a pleasant guy, to put it mildly, but still possesses some redeeming qualities. Read More...
