"Marvel's The Avengers" crushed the box office, and Earth's mightiest heroes are likely to repeat their success once the Joss Whedon super-flick hits home video. If nothing else, "Avengers" has the coolest Blu-ray trailer we've seen in quite some time. Two of them, actually!

With any luck, it won't be much longer before Chloe Moretz gets her Hit-Girl on again. But it's still going to be a while until you see her as the pint-sized vigilante — which is why you should be grateful that Mark Millar's around to give the character her very own miniseries!

Will "The Amazing Spider-Man" take place on the night Gwen Stacy died? Probably not — one imagines that Marc Webb and friends are waiting to introduce their version of the Green Goblin before reenacting the iconic moment. But, at the very least, there's this: Emma Stone herself thinks Gwen has to die on screen. Bold words coming from a bold actress.

Christopher Nolan has made excellent decisions regarding his Batman villains, not just in terms of who he selects and who he hires to play the baddies, but in how he's played out their stories. Some villains don't make it out of the proceedings alive — bye-bye Ra's, bye-bye Dent — while others, most especially Scarecrow, are still lurking about in the background of Gotham City.
All of which is to say that the "Dark Knight" trilogy has featured fantastic foils for Christian Bale's Caped Crusader, making the fan poster you'll see in today's edition of Tights all the more awesome. Take a peek at that and a whole lot more past the jump.

So, "Prometheus" came out this weekend, and the reactions have been mixed, to put it mildly. But whether you loved it or hated it, there's no question that the long awaited Ridley Scott/Damon Lindelof maybe-maybe-not "Alien" prequel struck a note with viewers, for better or for worse — and I'm going to go ahead and say "for better," especially when it spawns so many hilarious parodies, like the comics you'll see in today's Tights.
