Walking Dead

"The Walking Dead" ain't a Judas, as it'll prove to you in Sunday's new episode titled, appropriately enough, "I Ain't a Judas." But you could forgive the survivors living in the prison for casting suspicious glances at new inmates Michonne and Merle Dixon. Though the sword-swinging zombie-killer is nowhere to be found in these four new photos from the coming "Walking Dead" episode, Merle is all over the place, assault rifle in hand, safely behind the prison walls. Either he's officially part of the team, or he's taking matters into his own hands. Er, hand.

Arrow

Love seems to be in the air in Starling City as last night's "Arrow" featured both Oliver Queen and Diggle going out on fancy dates, not to mention the fact that Thea Queen has found a new love interest in the form of bad boy Roy Harper. "Dodger" revolves mostly around Oliver and company tracking down a jewel thief named the Dodger. He's smooth, he's swift, and he loves to strap bombs to people's necks.

S.H.I.E.L.D.

With "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" pilot episode officially wrapped, Joss Whedon is finally ready to open up a bit about the new Marvel TV series. According to him, it will feature everything he loves best about comic books.

"I’m excited about the show because it’s a very hopeful show," Whedon told TV Line. "It’s not about murder, and it’s not about crime, and it’s not people looking into their own belly buttons. It’s about people who are trying to help each other, and that’s one of the things I loved about comic books. They had costumes and the villains were cool [but] they stood for something, and I like doing a show that does that."

Arrow

by Ryan Rigley

In a surprising turn of events, last night's episode of "Arrow" was comprised mostly of flashbacks to Oliver Queens's time on the mysterious island of Liànyù. "The Odyssey" picks up precisely where last week's episode left off, with the hooded vigilante breaking into Queen Consolidated and interrogating Moira Queen at arrow-point. Moira, who denies having anything to do with Walter's disappearance, eventually gets the upper hand, shooting her own son with a hidden handgun.

Oliver makes the tough decision of revealing his secret identity to Queen Consolidated's I.T. girl, Felicity Smoak, with the hopes that she will drive him back to the Arrowcave and help remove the bullet from his shoulder. Being that Oliver Queen is technically her boss and also a known murderer, Ms. Smoak quickly agrees to do whatever he so pleases.

You can check out the full trailer after the jump (it's a nice accompaniment to that sweeps poster), but for now we've got some other exciting news. ET is reporting that Emily Bett Rickards, the woman behind Felicity Smoak, has been upgraded to a series regular.

SHIELD

That's a wrap! Production has finally finished on the pilot of "S.H.I.E.L.D.," which means it's off to the editing bay for showrunners Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon.

Tancharoen announced the exciting news with the above picture on her Instagram. "That's a wrap. #SHIELD," she posted. It still will be a while before fans get to see this episode -- if they do at all -- because the show has yet to be officially picked up by ABC. We can't see the network passing on this, though, especially as we head into the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2. Fingers crossed this pilot will make its debut at Comic-Con regardless.
