Captain America The First AvengerWe shouldn't be surprised that comic book creators continue to adore "Captain America: The First Avenger." However, it seems that some of them are having a tough time finding a screening. If you have any tips, you should pass them on to Mr. Bryan Hitch.

Meanwhile, Mike Oeming apparently had no problem finding the "Powers" set in Chicago. He's been tweeting gasps and pictures of watermelon. Find out what his creative partner from the comics thinks about that, and see who's setting some lofty goals for himself on Google+. All of this and more made the day's rundown.

Jessica JonesSan Diego Comic-Con is now just a memory for 2011, but post-show tweets continued from everyone who wasn't passed out on a redeye flight last night. Jon Favreau and Olivia Wilde sounded satisfied with the reception "Cowboys and Aliens" got, and Joe Hill compared Harrison Ford's performance in the film to "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

In TV news, Marvel acknowledged that "AKA Jessica Jones" is in development for ABC. Brian Michael Bendis refused to say any more, though, being that he's busy with "Powers" goings on in Chicago. Check out what he did say, as well as whose cosplay impressed Gail Simone at SDCC down below.

Jon SnowComic creator tweets are fun to follow during Comic-Con International week, because they tend to keep appearing all night long. From pictures of run-ins between Stan Lee and Taylor Lautner to hang-outs with "A Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin, the feed was loaded with fun this morning.

It's also a great week to watch for art posts. Take, for example, a really awesome Jon Snow portrait posted by Michael Cho. Check out his link, some on-stage panel shots and some words from Simon Fraser on the passing of artist Lucian Freud.

OS X LionThe wildest week on the comic book industry calendar is officially underway in San Diego right now. Opening night tweets percolated out of Comic-Con International last night, featuring fear, costumes and even some humility (for charity) from Brian Michael Bendis.

Apple's new operating system upgrade was also a popular source of stress and delight yesterday. Creators collectively assessed which scanners and apps on their desktops managed to be compatible with OS X Lion, and Mitch Breitweiser predicted the future of Apple computing. His thoughts, Dan Slott on "Captain America: The First Avenger" and Matt Fraction's space shuttle contemplation ranked atop our list of favorite tweets list after the jump.

Captain America The First AvengerPeople cool enough to get in to "Captain America: The First Avenger" on its premiere night sounded off on Twitter Tuesday. Kevin Smith and Edgar Wright spoke highly of the film, and Smith also had some praise for the "Avengers" trailer.

Mark Millar, meanwhile, had to turn down a visit to the "Avengers" set, and shared his sorrow with his followers. His reasons, an evaluation of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man and pre-Comic-Con travel tweets await after the jump.

The Amazing Spider-ManComic-Con International begins on Wednesday, so of course everyone is tweeting about upcoming comic book movie projects and conveniently leaked teasers. This means that Hollywood publicity people are doing their jobs!

The "Amazing Spider-Man" teaser that slipped out got a relatively warm reception, though P.J. Holden surely isn't the only Spidey reader suffering from origin story fatigue. The "Walking Dead" Season 2 trailer, meanwhile, didn't give anything away about what AMC's got in store, but it was fun to see. Damon Lindelof's thoughts on the show, as well as "Powers" TV info and Mark Waid's frustrations over DC rebooting Superman made the day's top retweets after the jump.

BatmanThe Truffle Shuffling U.S. women's soccer fan in the stands for the World Cup final yesterday must have caught Christos Gage's eye because he tweeted about his own Shuffle frustrations this morning. The international sports event provided a brief distraction from the Comic-Con craziness and Harry Potter sadness that was otherwise flooding our feed.

Speaking of Harry Potter, Chip Zdarsky celebrated the series' end. Alejandro Arbona didn't necessarily revel in schadenfreude, but he did question the film's depiction of bankers. Find out if you agree with him after the jump. There's a link to some awesome Jim Lee Batman artwork and sympathy for Jean Grey's evil clone there as well.

Harry PotterIf you caught a midnight screening of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" last night, you were not alone. Stephen Colbert tweeted about his mad rush to make it in time, though Skottie Young did not think he was young enough to stick out.

In the meantime, everyone's had San Diego Comic-Con on their brains for next week. Jim Lee's still rolling out his "Justice League" pencils in anticipation of the show. Scope 'em out after the jump. His art, Paul Cornell's thoughts on the remake of "The Thing" and an IDW dream project await you down below.

Game of ThronesPrimetime Emmy Award nominations were announced this morning, and "Game of Thrones" fans in the feed saw a few reasons to get excited, including a Best Drama nod and a Best Supporting Actor nomination for Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister. C.B. Cebulski and Brian Reed were both behind him, while Ryan North got all pumped for "Adventure Time."

You can bet that "Game of Thrones" will be a hot topic at Comic-Con International in San Diego next week. Joe Kelly and Brian Michael Bendis both had the show on their minds and shared some advice for everyone else who plans on attending. Check that out down below, along with a response to the leaked "Dark Knight Rises" trailer.

Jason StathamIf there's one thing that heavy movie-watching Internet users cared about on the Internet yesterday, it was Netflix's announcement that they would be overhauling their payment and service plan models. Costs may go down or up, depending on what your habits are, and Brian Denham and Stephen Colbert expressed their own unique frustrations regarding the changes.

Matt Fraction, meanwhile, experienced some all-caps excitement talking about his hopes for Jason Statham in "Crank 3." You may feel similar adrenaline levels when you see Duncan Fegredo's Hellboy commission that he shared this morning. There's a link below, along with a couple of Google+ assessments and Hellboy drawing advice from none other than Chris Burnham.
