"Iron Man 3" is shooting in North Carolina. This is a fact. "Avengers" star Cobie Smulders will be reprising her role as Maria Hill in "Iron Man 3." This is a rumor. Smulders recently paid a visit to North Carolina. This is a fact, and this is a tweet to prove it.

So, Smulders is in North Carolina, the same state where "Iron Man 3" is shooting. Definitive proof that Hill will be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's new go-to S.H.I.E.L.D. representative, starting as soon as the next "Iron Man" film? Hardly, but what was already an interesting rumor is made all the more plausible by this latest development.

Gwyneth Paltrow Gets To Work On 'Iron Man 3'

"Iron Man 3" has already started production, as we've learned from both press releases and unofficial photographic evidence. (Iron Patriot, anyone? How about A.I.M., too?) Numerous actors, Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau included, have been spotted on set, and now it's Gwyneth Paltrow's turn to rejoin the team. Here she is below!

'Dark Knight Rises' Prologue Reactions From 'Iron Man,' 'Scott Pilgrim' Directors

The "Dark Knight Rises" prologue bows on December 16, but a lucky few have already seen the highly anticipated six-minute sequence from Christopher Nolan's last Batman movie. MTV News staff writer Kara Warner was on hand, for instance. (She is now my mortal nemesis, by the way, but that's neither here nor there!)

But it wasn't just select journalists who got to see the "Dark Knight" prologue a little bit early. A special Los Angeles screening was apparently held for some of Hollywood's elite, based on late-night and early-morning Twitter activity from directors like Jon Favreau and Edgar Wright. Steve Jobs, Dead At 56: Comics Pros React On Twitter

By now, you've heard the sad news: Steve Jobs, the visionary founder of Apple Inc., has died at the early age of 56. Appropriately enough, word of his passing has spread far and wide across the Web, thanks in large to technology he pioneered.

Among those commenting on Jobs' death are esteemed members of the comic book community, from "Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman, to Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada. Their remembrances, and others, are past the jump.

'The Avengers' Shooting, 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance' And 'Conan' In Today's Twitter Report

The AvengersLabor Day weekend has arrived, and most of the creators in our feed seem to have been ramping up their output in anticipation. Kevin Colden, meanwhile, is hoping to catch a glimpse of "The Avengers" filming in New York over the three-day holiday.

Elsewhere, Gail Simone opened up to the idea of seeing "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance," and Jimmy Palmiotti offered some thoughts up for anyone going to see "Conan." George Lucas' Star Wars Changes And Project Pitches In Today's Twitter Report

Star WarsIf anyone can sympathize with George Lucas amid all of the criticism he's recently received over the new Star Wars Blu-ray changes, it's comic book creators. Ron Marz and Eric Canete both came to the franchise founder's defense with some stern words today.

On a much more serious note, creators have been banding together to raise money to help cartoonist Dylan Williams, who's currently battling cancer. If you want to help out, you could do a lot worse than picking up the Batwoman artwork that Steve Lieber put up on eBay. DC Comics Reboot, 'Powers' And 'Game Of Thrones' In Today's Twitter Report

DC RelaunchThe big news in comics today is the massive reboot going on over at DC. Jim Lee and Geoff Johns' "Justice League" #1 went on sale all over the country to kick it off, and the two of them have been touring New York City on the signing circuit to promote it. Lee even tweeted some photographic evidence.

Opinions on what DC's relaunched titles will accomplish varied. A couple of takes, along with Edgar Wright's "Game of Thrones" discovery and info about a "Powers" pilot cut you can't see unless you're at Brian Michael Bendis' house made the rundown today.

Wacom Inkling Reactions, 'The Goon' And 'Torchwood' In Today's Twitter Report

Beyoncé And 'The Hunger Games' In Today's Twitter Report

Hurricane Irene Preparation, 'Hit Somebody' And Ultimate Cap In Today's Twitter Report
